Every year, the After School Program (ASP) offers free courses to NYC high school students interested in the sciences at the American Museum of Natural History. Each course makes use of the Museum’s unique resources through hall visits, lab and collections tours, talks and lectures by scientists, and hands-on activities.

Winter and spring dates:

  • Session 3: January 1 – March 3
  • Session 4: March 15 – April 18
  • Session 5: April 29 – June 6


  • Cost: Free
  • Who: 9th – 12th grade students who live or attend school (or home school equivalent) in NYC; some classes have individual prerequisites
