Cornerstone Programs offer NYCHA residents opportunities for fun, learning, and support. Programs for youth and adults include:

  • Tutoring
  • College prep
  • English for speakers of other languages and high school equivalency classes
  • Workforce development
  • Family relationship workshops
  • Recreation, dance, and music classes
  • Tenant education and advocacy

How to Enroll

  • Enroll through a Cornerstone program near you between August and September. To get started:
    1. Go to the Discover DYCD website.
    2. Click “Show Advanced Search” in the “Basic Search” box
    3. Select “Cornerstone” from the “All Programs” dropdown
