STACKS After School Program

Academic Support Grade-Schooler Pre-Teen Teen

Developed by Queens Library, STACKS is a free after school program for children ages 6 – 14. STACKS adds to your child’s learning experiences through structured and unstructured, age-appropriate activities in a safe and welcoming environment. It helps school-aged children build emotional, social, and academic skills.

  • Who: Children in grades 1 – 8 with a valid Queens Public Library card
  • When: Weekdays during the school year, including school holidays

HOW TO REGISTER

To register, contact the nearest branch that offers the STACKS program (see the website for details). To register:

  • Contact your nearest library branch that offers STACKS
  • Participants must commit to a full year
  • A parent or guardian must sign for permission
