Brooklyn Children’s Museum – Pay as You Wish

Take your kids to visit the Brooklyn Children's Museum to enjoy fun, educational exhibits. Pay as you wish on Thursday and Sunday afternoons!

After School Lounge

For an hour, children can work on crossword puzzles, word search puzzles, language arts, and math worksheets.

Monday Mix-Up

4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Join the library each week for a new special program. Explore the arts, venture into space, travel to new places, and make new friends!

Kids Tinkershop

4:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Kids can explore different materials each week as they discover the creative, inventive possibilities in ordinary household objects. 

Homework Help

5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Join the library every Monday for help with school studies. Library staff and volunteers will be on hand to provide study assistance for children in grades K-6.

Children in grades K - 6 can come to the Mitchell-Linden Library where teen volunteers will help with homework. 

Wednesday, January 29

Saturday Storytime

11:00 AM - 11:30 AM
A librarian will share favorite picture books, providing children with the wonder of books and the joy of reading.

Homework Help

3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Need help with English or math? Come to the library for a 20-minute homework session!  

Early Readers Storytime

4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
This program aims to continue the practice of storytime for older children. Each week, participants will discuss a book and do a craft or related reading activity.
