LGBTQ New Yorkers can get quality health care in safe and respectful NYC Health + Hospitals centers. Services include:

  • women’s and men’s health
  • transgender health, including gender affirming surgeries and hormone therapy
  • HIV and STD prevention, screening, and treatment
  • social work and behavioral health services
  • primary care

All staff are trained on physical, psychological, and social LGBTQ issues.

  • Care is provided to everyone, regardless of your ability to pay or immigration status
  • NYC Health + Hospitals can help you find insurance if you need it
  • You're free to use the restroom or single sex area that is most aligned with your gender identity or expression
  • Youth twelve and older can get private reproductive and sexual health services

Who is eligible

All New Yorkers can get help at an NYC Health + Hospitals facility, regardless of your ability to pay or immigration status.
