The Octavia Project Summer Institute is a free month-long program where young women and trans, nonbinary, or gender non-conforming youth from Brooklyn can explore their love of science fiction and fantasy through art, writing, science, and tech projects with a community of creatively-minded peers.

  • Cost: Free
  • Who: Young women and trans, nonbinary, and/or gender non-conforming youth from Brooklyn who are:
    • 14 to 18 years old
    • Interested in science fiction, fantasy, fan-fiction, art, writing, science, tech, gaming
  • When: Tuesday – Friday at 1 – 4:30pm from July 2 to August 2
