Teen Advisory Group (TAG)

Teens can join at the library to talk about ideas to help improve the library. Enjoy hanging out with other teens and meet the new YA librarian. 

Maker Friday

Students can work on an independent project with the help of a Maker Project Prompt and the Maker cart.

Join the library for stories, music, and rhymes! Recommended ages birth to 5 and caregivers, but older siblings are welcome too.

After School Homework Help

10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Students in grades 1 - 8 can come get homework help at the Eastern Parkway Library.

Family Storytime: Daddy & Me (and Mommy, too!)

10:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Come in and listen to stories, sing songs, and move to bouncy rhymes with your baby or toddler, then spend some quality time playing and reading with your child and meeting other parents.

Playdate for Infants and Toddlers

Children’s Computer Literacy Program

Kids ages 6 - 12 can have fun at the South Jamaica Community Library while learning computer skills through a variety of projects.

Black History Month: Seneca Village

Learn about the lives of Seneca Village's residents in the 1800s and the community's place in pre-Central Park.
