Community Partnerships (CPs) | NYC Administration for Children’s Services (ACS)

Family Services Everyone

Community Partnerships are coalitions of community members, service organizations, faith-based groups, and other stakeholders that come together to increase awareness about and access to resources so families and children have what they need to thrive.

  • The Partnerships are neighborhood planning coalitions that serve as local hubs for community leaders, residents, providers, and other stakeholders to:
    • collaborate and share resources
    • increase family access to information and resources
    • design strategies to support families and enhance child safety and well-being.
  • The Partnerships also serve as a place for community groups to come together to do joint planning, reduce duplication of efforts, and increase coordination in order to better serve the community.
  • Partnerships ensure that everyone – from government agencies to community providers, faith-based groups, and local leaders – are involved in efforts to improve child and family well-being.
  • Partnerships have monthly meetings that are open to the community, in all five boroughs.
  • Represent your community as a Community Ambassador and help build relationships and grow the Partnership network.
  • Sharing your name, address, and other information is optional and is not needed to participate or attend.
