Child Care Baby Toddler Pre-Schooler

Children who are six weeks to four-years-old can get childcare at FirstStepNYC. This program in Brooklyn’s Brownsville neighborhood gives children a classroom all year long.

While the kids are learning, their families can get help as well. Each family in FirstStepNYC gets a family support specialist to work with. Family members can also take workshops on money, safety, and health.

Am I Eligible?

  • Children are 6-weeks to 4-years old
  • Meet income guidelines
  • Priority given to siblings of children already enrolled in PS/IS41 and children or siblings of children currently enrolled in an SCO program
  • Working and non-working families may be eligible
