Children who are six weeks to four-years-old can get child care at FirstStepNYC. This program in Brooklyn’s Brownsville neighborhood gives children a classroom all year long. While children are learning, their families can also get help. Each family in FirstStepNYC gets a family support specialist to work with.

  • Family members can also take workshops on money, safety, and health
  • Priority given to siblings of children already enrolled in PS/IS41 and children or siblings of children currently enrolled in an SCO program 


Eligibility

  • Children are 6 weeks to 4 years old
  • Families must meet income guidelines
  • Working and non-working families may be eligible
